BeamMP uses an authentication key to identify who runs a server on their platform. An authentication key is required for your server to appear on the in-game BeamMP server list. Failure to provide a legitimate key will result in your server being removed from the in-game list until you provide a valid key in the "Startup" tab.
How Do I Obtain an Authentication Key?
BeamMP makes it very simple! Navigate to the BeamMP keymaster website and log in with your Discord account. The website may ask you for an IP address; if so, enter "0.0.0.0" (without the quotation marks).
What if I didn't Provide a Valid Key at Checkout?
Please follow the steps above to obtain an authentication key and update your key in the "Startup" tab in the control panel. Any changes in this tab require a restart to take effect.
Can I Use the Server without an Authentication Key?
Yes, but you must connect directly to the server, as it won't be on the multiplayer server list.
